And that Cherokee has 212K miles on it, but the other day when I was taking off from a stop sign, I gave it a little too much gas and it jerked my head back. Those 4.0s have a lot of pep.
Oh and not to brag (really, I'm not), but my truck starts as soon as I bump the key. Two or three pumps of the gas pedal, bump the key once and it's running. Even in the winter. It definitely needs some carb tuning though, it's running rather rich.
:P
Well today I finally got around to cleaning off my spark plugs....out of 8 I broke three, though fortunately I had a spare, brand-new one in my glovebox for the first one. That was my only spare though, so I gotta run up to the auto store and pick up two new ones tomorrow. And some anti-sieze too...
But it was an easy job cleaning them, all I had to do was spray the dirty areas with GumOut carb cleaner (basically the same thing as B12 Chemtool...has the same smell that knocks you off your feet), then scrub it all gently with a wire brush. The one I have looks like a toothbrush on steroids, and it did a great job. After cleaning I regapped all the ones I removed intact to .046 (it says .042-.046 on the emissions tag under the hood) and got em back in using German Torque (Gutentite....
).Also found out I have a rather minor oil leak on my driver side valve cover. Been about 7 years since the last time it got new valve cover gaskets, so it's probably about time again.

lol I need to get some Gunk too. I'm just worried I'll end up getting something in the oil when I go to clean it off. I do have a somewhat leaky oil breather cap. Then again I could always just tape it off real good.
Oh and Radioshack called this morning and woke me up, I'm going in right after lunch to see if I have a new job. They said to bring photo ID and SS card...
Oh and go check the Post Em Up topic here, I posted a pic of my truck, FINALLY.
And I may run a factory air cleaner, but alot of other things aren't factory

EDIT: Thanks, greyghost

Oh and btw, check these videos out. I've been wanting to eventually get something like an old Jeep fullsize truck or an old 60s Kaiser Jeep truck, and put something like this in it.

Good luck with Radio Shack! It sounds like they want you!
Thanks! I've bought enough of their Monster Cable stuff that they pretty much owe me the job :P
