I was just checking your Facebook truck album, and noticed your carb pics. You may have cleaned it since you took the photos, but your choke linkage may be sticking due to accumulated grease and varnish. If you have not already done so, you might try spraying carb cleaner on your external linkages. There is not a lot of spring tension on a properly adjusted carb, so they are prone to sticking.

dude.
i love ford even more now.
The lady who has helped me out with the build sheet for my f250, was nice enough to send an apology letter, and even sent me a super awesome digital copy of the buildsheet.
which is good, because mine blew out my damn window haha.
edit: I recommend everyone get a build sheet from Ford, it's really cool to see all the things out trucks came with back in the day, and it's even funnier to see what Ford has gotten wrong on the build sheet.
Last night I swapped out the clear glass bulbs for my turn signals indicators in the dash with a pair of blue LEDs.....now my little green arrows are a deep, awesome shade of solid blue (not purple as I had guessed it'd be). Doesn't seem to affect the load on the turn signal/hazard flasher system like LED bulbs in the actual signal sockets would.

build sheets are free
all you have to do is get in contact with Ford.
you can do that by the address in the top of my picture, calling 1-800-392-3673, or by going http://www.ford.com/owner-services/customer-support there.
both work, both get results.
https://secure.ford.com/footer/conta...eServiceIssues
go there, and in the inquiry place, state that you would like to get a build sheet for your truck. include the vin, your full name, address, email, and phone number
oh, thanks for reminding me.
i did get it to finally free it'self.
it was stuck, so i took some carb cleaner to it.
i let it idle in the hot sun for a bit, and sure enuogh, it opened up
i decided i've had enough of my non existent brakes... so, i am going to attempt to bleed them again today
only problem is, one of the bleeding valves is snapped off.
how could one go about removing said valve, and no I had nothing to do with it.
and 2, even though it's snapped off in the closed position, could air be getting back into my lines because of that?
