Hey guys,
I bought my 05 used with about 43k miles. I noticed shortly after that the #3 setting on my airflow switch didn't work. But I ignored it and now #1 and #2 also have quit. #4 blows good (well as good as it can judging by all the other posts). I called the dealer and he said sounds like the resistor. I would think maybe the switch is bad but I'm not sure how the switch is set up. If it has little contacts like on it or if the switch is bad it just dies all the way. So, if it is the resistor, how do I change it and if not is it worth $200 for the dealer to do it since my extended warranty doesn't cover it. You guys have been great with my other posts. Thanks.
Ok I picked up the part for $31 which is not bad. I pulled the glove box down and I don't see anything that looks similar to the resistor pack. Any more help would be appreciated.
