Headers to fit...
Hi all,
Friend has 1983, F250, 4WD, 351W, 4sp manual w/ mechanical clutch.
He is trying to locate some headers to fit this truck. He is having problems getting clearance on the drivers side due to the Pivot Bar or Z bar.
Looking at manufacturers sites do not provide information needed on this clearance problem. I am looking for anyone who has found specific brand of headers that will fit this truck and not have this problem.

I doubt anyone makes a set of long tubes that will work with the mechanical clutch.
Lots of people use Mustang shorty headers on these trucks.
You might want to look into that, or swap it out for a hydraulic setup if you really want long tubes.
