Some help please...

Some help please...
Truck started to make a weird/odd everytime i started it this afternoon. (like if you put a rock in a bottle and shook it sound). Finally she gave out and wont start now.
It now makes a constant annoying annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn sound when i try to start it.
The batterys good, its just not turning over. So im pretty sure its the starter???
Btw, i tried jumping it with a pair of pliers on the solenoid? It just sparked up a bunch and didnt allow it too start.
Any help is thanked as usual!!!

Sounds like it is probably the starter gear not advancing out and engaging the teeth on the flywheel. When you started hearing noise this afternoon did it go away once the truck was running? If so a new starter should get you back on the road.

Yes stangg, as soon as the engine started the noise would go away.
Ctubutis! Dont say things like that! Not sure would id do if i had a seized engine. Checked oil and everything after it started doing it though and the levels were fine. So not sure how it would have seized.
