I was just wondering what you guys recommend if I can't go with a motorcraft this time? I called my dealership and they charge $35 (money is tight for me right now) for a motorcraft filter! I know I can get a purolator or something like that cheaper. I put a purolator on there last time and it seems like it's worked well for me. Anyway, I'd just like your suggestions on this. Thanks.
Is there a reason why the motorcraft fuel filter at the dealer is so expensive? Are they that much better than the rest of the fuel filters or is it just a typical dealer price since they're typically more expensive? Thanks.

The Great American Profit Motive. They obviously aren't making any money selling whole vehicles....
