fresh running 460 worthiness $$$

i have the 460 in the car now and i'm about to have it running here shortly and i may end up selling the motor shortly afterwards because i may just end up doing a 5.0/5.8 efi conversion instead in my mustang. i love the power and torque of them but you can't beat the reliability of the efi motors. and its so hard and expensive to get anything manual trans for a 460 and if so, its so darn expensive to do it.

and besides, if a 460 have a OD manual trans, how good of MPG can it really get? i don't think too much still.

i definitely need the car running and moving around for now with the 460 while i'm getting the floor pan redone and getting somebody work. but thats all the moving the 460 will do for now.

how much is MILDISH 460 fresh rebuild worth? of course its not a motor buying market right now but i'll take at least enough money to do some body work done. i'd wanna sell it with all the pullies and brackets and possibly the trans.

here are some details of the motor:

d1ve block .030 over
c9ve heads with port work (roof raising) w/ stainless steel valves
truck rods shotpeened and arp rod bolts
forged pistons
and a port o sonic intake manifold
crane roller rocker
870 holley street avenger carb
