Will an EFI cam work on a carb'd motor?
I plan on converting my 460 to EFI in the near future. I have the complete motor harnass and ECU. It has about 85k on it. I also have a fresh carb'd 460 that I have out of the truck, getting ready to put a new cam in. I am thinkin about using the top end of the EFI motor on the carb'd motor I have now. Will a cam intended for speed density EFI work well enough on a Carb's motor till I get around to swapping everything out and making it work??

A cam out of an injected engine will most definitlely work in a carbed one. When you start throwing cams from carbed engines into ijected ones you may have a problem or at least it will perform worse. Speed density doesn't like cam changes from what I hear.
