they bought the 7.3 Ex on m advice for towing her horse trailer.. its currently at 74K miles

Ex Sightings!
Happy to report that I saw 2 other Ex's at the boat ramp this weekend. Just a small local lake too.
First was an 05 EB 6.0 with a nice boat - also named Excursion.
Second appeared to be an 01 XLT with a jetski - first time out - so entertaining to watch. Wife offered to help but they weren't happy so we just let them go.

another Ex sighting
This is sort of related.... last night on the NBC's "The Storm" mini-serious with Dawson's Creek Jason Vander., the bad-feds were driving an Ex in a driving rainstorm as they eventually abducted Dawson by force. Besides Hollywood citings, I saw my twin at a local supermarket parking lot. We exchanged greetings, but she decline my offer to buy her's if she was considering selling. It would look cool to have his & her green 7.3 Limiteds parked in my driveway.

I've been seeing more of them in the last few months - but it might just be that more people are dusting them off and using them since it's summer and toys to be hauled and fuel prices are down from last year.
Saw 6-7 just on I90 shooting through Chicago after the 4th.
They will get more rare as people crash them out - but at least there are lots of F250s and 350s running around to supply many of the parts - that was part of my justification for buying a truck no longer in production.

I was at the gas station the night I put my lift on, Friday, and as I was sitting there for the 20 minutes to fill up my tank four excursions pulled in all covered with mud.... I didn't think to ask what year but they were lifted high and they liked my truck haha I am going to meet with then this coming weekend so I will have to get them on the site!!!
