Every once in a while I see an X fully decked out as a sheriff's. Just can't seem to catch up to him while I have a camera tho. Would be a nice picture.
Why is it so hard to say your dad has 2 Excursions and a new 450???
Nobody will think any less of you for telling it like it is! You're a young kid, you like automobiles, and you're proud of what your family owns. OK?
Sorry just got on FTE and was looking around and saw this. You are relay still going on about this You can't get over it can you. Better question why the heck do you care? Does it **** you off when I say I got 2 Excursions and a 450 King Ranch?

How do you know maybe they are in his name? I have met Nick and his father and it was obvious to me that they are a very close family so maybe they are not hung up on the this is mine and that is yours. These belong to the family so they are all of ours. Nick is the type of kid that will dig into anyones truck to help them out with any type of repair reguardless of what it is. I don't know to many other 17 year olds that will do that. He is a good hearted kid so please try to be less critical of him.

Sorry VaSheriff, I agree with Toreador_Diesel and megawatt00. We have more vehicles in our family than drivers also, and both my daughters drive them, they can right fully say "I have a Excursion", because we are a family. Just because it's not registered in there name doesn't mean they don't have it. Just cut Nick some slack he's a really nice young man and that doesn't deserve to be lashed out at for no reason other than he's proud of his families vehicles.
I have also met Nick and his dad. Two great guys. I also witnessed Nick under the hood of a Superduty helping replace injectors. If he wants to he can call my truck his. Hell, we are all family around here.
So me paying for every freaking thing on it and for it means it anit mine???
Its in his name for cheaper insurance, legal mumbo jumbo thats all it is. Ive worked hard for everything Ive got. No hand outs from mommy or daddy, I busted my *** for all of it, so I think I EARNED the right to call it MINE.
there are several here in upper east tennessee. while camping in pigeon forge tn last month, there was a fellow coming in to the campground with a Nice looking EX. when he passed my campsite, his EX was smoking like a freight train. poor fellow blew his turbo. man...but it was a sharp looking ride. i hope he got it fixed and that he got home ok. btw, we were at twin mountain outdoor resort campground ... if the fellow is on FTE.
I gotta say, I completely understand where VA Sheriff is coming from. I think I have the same idiosyncrasy flowing through my brain that makes me look at my buddy Nick's posts, making me want to correct what he's typed. Not unlike the need to straighten a crooked painting.
At least, it used to irk me.
Part of it used to be because I didn't know Nick was so young, and he wasn't the one who went out and bought the vehicles, and when I found out, I thought Nick should be more transparent when he posts.
Then I got to meet Nick and his dad. Not only do they have a great relationship, but if you ask me, it's almost like....well...it's sorta like Nick's dad may have been the one purchasing the vehicles, but Nick is the one who mods them, maintains them, drives them, and "owns" them as much as his dad does.
When the 450 broke down on the trip up to Oregon for the Riffraff tech day, we were all brainstorming how to attack the problem, and Nick was the one who was on his cell to Spartan to get their input.
Once all was said and done, Nick's dad pulled him aside, away from us, to discuss all the options and come to a final decision with Nick on how to handle the break-down.
After that Oregon trip, for me, it really is easy to see, and accept Nick's "ownership" of the vehicles he posts about.
Nick's dad trusts Nick with the vehicles, as if Nick were the sole owner of them, and Nick doesn't betray that trust.
Nick is a GREAT kid and ANY father would be proud to have him as a son. Hell, it's great to be able to call him friend.

...... I thought Nick should be more transparent when he posts. Stewart
Exactly!
I'm still at the point where I think he should be more transparent in his posts.
But, whatever he wants to do is fine by me. I'm just a visitor here.
