So me paying for every freaking thing on it and for it means it anit mine???
Its in his name for cheaper insurance, legal mumbo jumbo thats all it is.
Go back and study YOUR question to me.... and MY answer to you.
You asked if the truck being in your father's name means you can't call it yours.
My answer was NO. As in YOU can call it yours.
I went on to say it's in your father's name for insurance purposes, and we all understand that. That's much different than saying you own 2 Excursions and a new F450.
We were on the same page, you simply interpreted my answer wrong.
Nick is Agreat guy, and an even better son. I know both of my Boy's look up to him as they have had ALOT of time to hang out over the last few weeks. Even at his age, I trust him to look out after my own, ask my wife, that's not typical. Nick Call my rig yours, you installed the gauges!
isn't this like renting a house and calling it your home?
Yes.
I have a friend who lived near me in a nice home. For decades he told me it was his and paid for. When he met a chick who got him addicted on cocaine, he lost his house, his many nice vehicles, and his electrical business. It was only then that I learned he had been renting it, remodeling it, and maitaining it on his dime.... even though he was renting the house from a friend. I checked the history of this house on tax records, and sure enough, it had NEVER belonged to him.
This guy I am speaking of.... he bought Tahoes and Silverado pickups. I never could convince him to purchase a new Excursion. He always had some lame excuse about how an Excursion didn't suit his needs.
