I wonder what the difference is in traction and pliability versus my Michelin XL's?
Couldn't tell ya as I haven't had a chance to run them yet but I can't wait! I imagine they'll have a good bite in the mud. They're 16 ply, which I think yours are too so pliability is probably at a complete loss. The XLs seem like a directional tread so that may be a factor. I went with the XZLs to get a little wider look.
I have some news for you guys. Those tires are not the best wheelin tire for a "light" rig. I have seen the same exact size/style of tires you have Kirby, they where on a 76 ford with rockwells, 390, 4 speed out in Dresser WI. Needless to say, the mud hill out there was a huge chalange for it to get up. I was able to make faster progress in two wheel drive with my TSLs.
