yeah i love my hawgs i mean they aint no bogger in a mud drag...but try backing a bogger up a tight sloped muddy trail...not gonna happen, you will wind up going sideways down the hill before anything else

So does that mean my toyota paseo was a wheeler because I rallyed it through 12 miles of desert tails to get to my bros that were camping? Oh I also drove 6 hours from chandler to the california high desert before I hit dirt, and I was passing the modified rhino that met me at the highway to lead me into camp hahaha!

not horrible but i wouldn't go out of my way to put one in something unless it already had one and i was replacing it. why???? i do believe they have an issue with the pump coming loose in the case and spinning freely, heard something about securing it with a self tapping screw. they also have little casting marks sometimes that look like cracks around the case halves and fill hole.

yeah, it should be fine. they aren't horrible, i just wouldn't swap to one in anything with lots of power. aluminium case+chaindriven= easier to break

I broke one in my dad's F350 up at raush creek, PA but that was after I rebuilt the truck after some er.. darker person, rearended it while it was parked on the side of the road. So it may have been damaged in that accident, who knows.

Also, here's a pretty cool picture of alpha's truck and my Bronco:

some ******* left it in N when it was on the trailer and it about rolled backwards into the mud pit when we took the straps off that day

it's the same case used behind the PSD and the V10s if that helps you any.

I used my F250 to drag race a couple years doing 4x4 launches with it and never broke anything but a hub. and that was with the turbo spooled up to 16psi of boost at the line.

really? cause my bone stock 300 with 5 speed stretched the t-case chain all to **** one day when i got stuck with 31's and 3.08 gears...then i repalced it and a month later it did it again with 35's and 3.08 gears...then i said **** it and got an NP-205...and it kicks ***

anywho any of u guys recommend welding that hole i showed you in my carrier? in my pursuit of a new carrier one of the driveline guys told me to fill it with weld then just redrill it...seems like it would hurt the structural integrity? opinions?

I never ever ever eveeerrrr had problems with a BW1356.

And like Dave said, it doesn't seem like it would be hard to find a new carrier. But hell, try welding it and tell us what happens.
