I have an '04 ED. Great for the two small boys (3 and 1) and all the gear we need to haul even on a day trip. We recently did 2,500 miles and it was supremely comfortable and the DVD kept the 3-year old happy. The rear seat has been folded since the day I got it and I have a Husky Liner back there. Even w/ that cargo area I still had to use our Thule roof box for the road trip. I had looked at the F-150 but am glad we got the SUV instead.
Besides the rediculous fuel milage, i get with my 00 expy eddie baur 4x4 (10-13) ive come to find out that these tucks are riddled with poor factory design ideas on both the 5.4 triton engine, and the truck itself..... just google "triton 5.4 intake manifold" or "heater core replacement" not to mention if you ever develop some minor leak somewhere on the cooling system it is highly recommended NOT to introduce any kind of stop leak into the system because of the small passageways that cool the heads.... also it is a known problem to break exhaust manifold studs after 120k. AND expect to take it to a garage to change the spark plugs.... ill never do that again (3 1/2 hrs later) , from now on ill be taking it somewhere to have it done, just like almost everything else on this truck, ITS A PAIN TO WORK ON....AND ALL THE PARTS ARE EXPENSIVE EVEN THE SIMPLEST THINGS!!!!!!
Dont get me wrong i love my truck, otherwise i wouldnt keep fixing it ...not to mention i cant afford to get rid of it now ill never get out of it what ive put in it they dont hold any value anymore... i just wouldnt do it over this way i would have gotten something else. LIKE AN EXCURSION
They do sound kind of cool with a flowmaster though heres mine
