They were chargin me $280 for header installation, custom dual exhaust and 2 new flowmaster 40 series, dumped. Is that good? and do you think it will sound good? I have a 302 wit a mustang 4 bbl intake and the headers are hooker headers

I think Flowmasters (aka Dronemasters) sound like crap, but to each their own. The price isn't bad, though.

I had no cats and duel strait pipes on a 460, but it was way, way to loud.
so I put cheap turbo mufflers on from auto zone.

Well I ended up with keeping my cat and going with dual cherry Bombs. It sounds ok, but a little too quiet, might with time get better though. They did a nice clean job, ended flush with the rear of the bumper & tips look nice, so I am pleased.
Thanks for all your input, I appreciate it.

I think it was a couple of super cheap flow masters.
