High Beams Only?

High Beams Only?
I have a '73 P400 chassis step van and when I turn the headlights on all the running lites, dash lites etc work, but Headlights only come on high beams. Turn the high beams off and no headlites. Bulbs/connections ok.
Any ideas?

Where is the hi-lo beam switch? Sounds like it's bad on the lo-beam side. Back then lots of vehicles had 'em on the floorboards where they'd rust out because of crap getting to it from the road.

The plug terminals are probably corroded. That happened on my 78 f250 and it lost all headlights. I cut off the old plug since it was unsaveble and crimped three female spade connectors onto the harness and now it works great.
