Mods for the 5.4L SD
Hey everyone, how are you all?
I still have yet to find the right mods for my truck, i have only upgraded the intake with the K&N FIPK Cold air intake, im looking for an exhaust with great sound and horsepowers and fuel gains that wont break the bank, but isnt going to be real ****ty. I also am looking for a tuner, i know there are not to many mods out there for the 5.4L SD but im sure you can give me some help. Any custom tunes that you would recommend for the truck? any and all reponses are appreciated, thank you everyone.

that might provide a few suggestions..
Exhaust- dont expect any noticable power or fuel mileage just sound is about all to expect unless you mess with the Y-pipe and/or headers. I like cherrybomb mufflers but magnaflow, flowmaster, borla, gibson, numerous others out there too are very popular.
5 star tuning does a heck of a job on the V10 and im sure it is the same with the 5.4 too if you want to check them out. they are a site sponser too and have a couple of dyno runs posted in the V10 forum on here if you want to look at what they do with that engine (5.4 is kinda the same engine just 2cyls less).

thanks appreciate it, ill definetly look into the 5 star tuning, i really want to make my truck my own, and i was looking at mbrp exhausts, and they dont make a system for the 2001 F250 with the 5.4L but they do for the v10 does it really makes that much of a difference? i mean other then the size of the engine everything else seems around the same what difference would the exhaust system me? and what sounds the best?
