Hello all, I have a question about matching interior paint for my Edge. After searching way back, I did not see anyone get an answer about the tan interior color match. Does anyone have any info for the right color? I have an 07 F-150 RC. I bought the Edge because of this forum by the way. Great source of info! Thanks for any help.
Like Tylus said, an auto paint supply can either look the code up or even use a color meter to match your interior. Take the pod with you so they see what you're trying to paint too.
If you're not an experienced painter, ask the guys in that shop for any tips or tricks also. The plastics paints can be a bit different. The silver I used for my pod required nothing thicker than flash coats or the metallic flake sank and made it end up too dark. Tan shouldn't have that problem at least.
Thanks guys, I'll try out Napa or CarQuest. I have it in with the stock gray right now and really don't mind it. I was hoping someone had hit on a spray can from True Value of something that was a good match. I realize it needs to be a plastic paint and it is probably somewhat specialized. As for the Edge, WOW. I am just using the Tow mode with 87 octane and it is worth the money. I am a little pissed that the one gauge I like to have does not function, the oil temp gauge. It was not mentioned in any of my reading through 5 years of discussion about the Edge. I guess it is only from the 07's on. Most of the gauges are useless to me but the oil temp is a good one. Oh well, can't have everything or I would have a big diesel anyway. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work.

In what way is it not functioning? Have you contacted Edge about the problem? They have great customer service, just give them a call and I'm sure they'll help you out.
It says right in my instruction manual that it will not read oil temp on 07 and newer f-150's. I tried but no cigar. Not the end of the world, just an annoyance. Still a great rig.
