I didnt fully shut my door last night and the dome lights killed my battery. This morning I jump started it and now the airbag light is staying on. Any idea how to shut it off?
I believe Autozone can reset the light as well. The same thing happened to me (although mine came on due to water leaking on the GEM, which turned on the dome lights and radio, which killed the battery...) If I remember the details right, my light flashed a code 52, and stopped after 255 successful self-tests. I had read a post on a website that a code 52 was "harmless" and simply indicated that the airbag senser detected a loss of voltage which can either mean a fault in the system OR that the battery died while the system was engaged. I just lived with the dumb thing, and it went out after about two months. I learned about Autozone AFTER this experience.
