Installed Superchip 1715

Hey all I am starting to modify my 01 V10 Excursion. I purchased a Superchip 1715 from E-bay as A first mod. I will report that it was a great purchase. The tuner really brought it to life and I have been getting around 1 mpg better. I was really happy. I really wanted the 5 star tuning unit and will get one when the money is there in the future. I got my for $99.00 New in the box on ebay so I had to give it a try. I can imagine how the more up to date and v10 spec. 5 star unit will be.

My next mods will be a cat back and the Y pipe mod. Give me opinions on the Y Pipe mod........was it worth it to those who have done it?

While I can't comment on what certain mods do to the mighty V10, I'll move this thread where many can.

Hi Brian
Thats an excellent buy for 99 bucks... We installed ypipe and FM70 series muff on our 2v V10. Both mods togther are good improvements in my book. If you need a ypipe with out delay ....We carry the SPD Ypipes in stock now...
