Hi, I have a '59 F250 4x4 with the "divoced" type transfer case. The aluminum identification tag is completely corroded. In my original Ford shop manual, Part number catalog, owners manual, and '59 4wd service technician manual, there are absolutely no references to what the model number is on this transfer case. Is it possible that it wasn't issued one, since this was the first Ford one ever factory installed? Thanks in advance for any help on this.
Kenny
Kenny , I looked in my Ford Truck Owners Bible book & from what I gathered your transfer case is a Spicer model . Ford Trucks from 59 to 64 all used the divorced transfer cases made by Spicer .
Paul, Thank you so much!! I really appreciate your reply. So what you are saying is that there is no model number on these because Spicer only made one type during these years?
