Leaning truck

I did a search and couldn't find anyone on this forum that had a leaning truck. Seems to have been quite common in the eariler (up to 2007) models. So are there no leaning 08/09s? I ask because mine is, but only about a 1/2 inch which as I understand it is within Ford specs. Anyone one have info or a comment?

There is a TSB on it for the earlier year model trucks but don't know if the 08+ are involved but I would guess the procedure would be the same. My 06 does this. The driver side of the truck is about 3/4 of an inch lower than the passenger side. Pisses me off!

Which way is it leaning? You tried turning the steering wheel lock to lock and checking again? Does it help if you hook up to your trailer?

What side do you think the fuel tank is on? Could be a clue.

Actually, it is low on the passenger side, fuel tank is in drivers side. But with a 36 gallon tank on a super duty DRW truck it sure shouldn't make it lean. 36 Gallon is about 252 Lbs which shouldn't even be noticed on these trucks. My 01 has a 55 gallon tank on the drivers side and it doesn'r make it lean.

The trailer weighs 16,500K lbs, when it's hooked up nothing leans, at least I don't think it would.

Sarcasm huh! I know the fuel tank and my 240lb ace is on the driver side, but even when the tank is near empty and im standing ouside looking at it, it still is low on the drivers side. I have never been around a 3/4 ton Dodge or GM that has this problem. I have seen quite a few Fords have this issue though.

Yeah, that was my original question, is anyone having that problem with an 08 or 09. mine is leaning, about a half inch low on the passengers side. I think the leaning was a very common problem ut to 2007 but I don't know about the 8s and 9s.
