While doing some pretty hard plowing which goes right along with hard forward to reverse drops i seem to have lost reverse in my 86 Bronco which is 302 injected AOD all forward gears still work and shift fine but no reverse, isnt the 1st and reverse clutch the smae clutch tho ? is it possibly the valve body if so i could probably just round up a junkyard valvebody and have reverse again ?????????

Reverse has it's own set of clutches in an aod. It is very possible you have worn clutches but a safer bet would be the reverse band. Either of which will require a complete teardown. The keepers on the band can come off, the band material can get worn, or under heavy operation, they can simply break. Good luck.
