FYI, kitchen oven heating elements ohm out at under 20 ohms. Heating elements don't have a lot of resistance, in general, when checked with an ohmmeter.

Dave...you don't. They're on continuously. When you wash the truck, wipe your mirrors to prevent waterspots from the heated mirrors drying them for you.

On my 05 i put my heated mirrors on #4 on the upfitter switches. On #3 i wired up the fast idle mode. Both a pain in the rear. On my 08 ford finally put a switch on the heated mirrors but i still had to wire up the fast idle mode to to switch # 3.
