Not to sure if you should do that. Could pull that plug in the intake and the turbo could eat it. I am using 4" pipe for that section ( thanks Adam for that )
Yeah, I know the 4" pipe is the preferred method, but I have some free time today and was wondering if I could get this mod done. I should probably just wait until I can get the kit from Clay.
Just do it right and put in a piece of 4" pipe, flip the dogbox, and run a (preferably fuel rated) hose down to the frame. Took me maybe an hour from the time I took the tools out to the time they were all put away.
i know people have capped it before but i don't know what with. If it was me i would call around to some of the muffler shops in your area and see if they have any scrap pieces of 4" pipe. they can't really use anything smaller than 12" long so they usually just throw it away. they might just give it to you, and then you just need to cut it the same length as the one that your CCV went into and replace it.
I was doing MY CCV along with painting my IC pipes and spyder. I don't have a 3/4" hose but I fliped the bog house anyways. I need to find something I guess. I just got rained out so I am taking a break now..
