aod to c6

Has anyone ever swaped an aod to a c6? This is in a 1990 F-150. Came stock with a 302, and now has a 351 carb. motor that has been eating the aods. I'd just as well switch to a c6 given than keep messing with it. The main thing I'm wondering is about driveshaft length. Has anyone gotten one in without having the shaft modifyed? Do they have the same number of splines.

aod to c6

My dad replaced his aod with a c-6 in his '81. He didn't have to change a thing.

hmmm, was it a long bed or short? don't know if it'll make a difference, just want to check.
