So...how do you know when the clutch linkage is adjusted properly?
Early this week, the connector rod from my clutch pedal to the "z-crank" or "bellcrank" broke....I measured it (the 18" one) and ordered a replacement...and wouldn't you know it...the new one is actually 18 1/2" long....so, I imagine this is no big deal to adjust for with the nut on the lower clutch release rod.....but, how will I know when it is adjusted optimally?
Is it just a "drive and see how it feels" test or is there a good method for setting it up from the start?
