my truck caught fire from the cruse control recall any way i got every thing i needed off a truck in the junk yard but ever since i got it running I've had problem's wit the transmission.

well when i start the truck up the light is off. when i take off it wants to hold 1st very long as soon as it shifts the lght starts blinking and then everything works perfectly. can even hit the button and it will take it in and out of over drive.

and according to the manual i have it says that if the transmission loses battery power the keep alive memory needs to re program it self but it doesn't say how long it will take
