need broken 4x4 shift motor

i mainly need the round shifter end thats on the motor so i can weld a arm to it. Then im going to use some hyme joints and build the shifter. probably do a bunch of short welds to the arm and t case round part so not to kill the seal

Thanks, I was more just curious if you went thru with it.
My hubs stopped working a few years ago, and have since been changed to Warn and I tolerate having to manually switch them. But next time they go out I will probably fix them right with the vacuum.
But I really don't want the shifter on the floor, I've contemplated maybe a push/pull type cable as it really doesn't take much to rotate it in. But I'm lazy and like the convenience of the esof.
