Im trying to identify a part that got broken in my steering column.
The shift handle is connected to this cylindrical part that runs down from the shift handle to the tranny shift rod under the dash, it snapped in two while shifting into park now I cant shift the transmission into any position ..... I took the dash apart and removed the part......... the part # on it is F3DC-7215.
I live in the Bahamas and probably have to order this part from Florida.......... any Idea of the name of this part and what I can expect to pay for it ?
I have a 1995 F250 PSD 7.3ltr. 4x4 auto tranny E4OD

Sorry to be bringing this post back from the dead. I have a 1994 F-350 with a E4OD transmission. The shift selector shaft broke on me as well. Can anyone elaborate on how hard it is to remove the dash to get this part removed? Thanks in advance.
I cant help you on this one, I think you may want to post in that Forum. But for my truck, it isnt bad at all, there are three screws on the bottm, you then turn the ignition to the on position, push a small punch up in the hole underneath the key switch, this will allow you to pull the switch and it will allow you to get into the column. Good Luck!!
