I'm not NmbrDummy, but I'd venture a guess to say that I believe:

The block "D4AE- "
The "D4" -- indicates it's a FoMoCo block first cast in 1974.
The "A" -- indicates it was used in a Ford vehicle,
The "E" -- indicates a generic application: Engine Engineering; Powertrain and Chassis product Engineering.

The 1st pan "D3WE-"
The "D3" -- indicates a part first offered in 1973
The "W" -- indicates a pan from either a Cougar 1966-72; Bobcat 1975-80; Lynx 1981-later....

I can't help ya on the last pan......... sorry.

I'm sure Bill (the ND) will be along soon and he'll likely be able to confirm my answers (or correct me) and provide you with the remaining mystery part # answers...

Good Luck!

What Mercury Bobcat (Ford Pinto) came with a V8? These cars came with 2.3L 4 bangers and 2.8L V6's.

What Mercury Lynx (Ford Escort) came with a V8? These cars came with 1.8L & 1.9L 4 bangers.

I do not have a Master Cross Reference Catalog to ID D3WE-6675-AA but it would not be for a Cougar only. All Cougars were V8's thru 1982.

If the pan is from 351C 2V, it fits all passenger cars that used this engine from 1970 thru 1974. It also fits 1975/79 cars with 351M's & 1971/79 cars with 400's.

If the pan is from a 351W, it fits all 1969/79 passenger cars / 1980/86 LTD/Crown Vic/Mercury Grand Marquis/Lincoln Town Car.

What 92TY-6675-AA is, I haven't a clue, as the prefix is incorrect. It could be D9TA or C9TA.

Since Ford is in-famous for updating 10's of 1000's of parts numbers every year, you cannot go by casting, ID or part number prefixes to ID what year...or vehicle the part fits.

An engine with a D4AE casting number could fit a car or truck. It could fit the 1960's, 1970's, or 1980's.

btw: The Cougar was introduced in 1967.
