I have a "E7TE 6675 bb" oil pan on my 460. It's supposed to be from a van and hold 7 qts of oil, that's according to the prev owner. I could only get 6 qts of oil when indicating full on the dip stick. Any help with this is appreciated

E7TE-BB = E7TZ-6675-A >> 1987/91 F250/350 ~ F Series Truck ** NOT ** Econoline.

Econolines since 1975 have all had reverse sump oil pans.

Not reverse... REAR vs front sump. (BIG reservoir area that holds most of the oil that the oil pump pickup rests in to always be able to draw oil from)
can any truck pans be found for a 460 with rear sump? i need to get my pan fixed i am ready to fix all the oil leaks and it has a car pan. 77 f350 460 2wd. i thought some trucks used a suitable pan, i can't easily change my oil.
