Hose connection here?

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger, standard, 3.0 engine, front wheel drive..

It is weird but I did not know anti freeze leaked from here..I checked raditor, hoses and all is dry but it is leaking out, I refill with coolant every other day. I was wondering where in the heck the leak was..I removed a cover that is close to back of the hood of truck, i never thought anti freeze went there, when i removed the cover, i seen it leaking out..

Is this a hose been disconnected? this is recent, a few weeks.. Its looks like a black nozzel..

Could that be the "duck bill" valve that allows water to drain out of the a/c? Are you sure it is antifreeze and not just clear water?
The best test is to have your coolant system pressure tested to see exactly where the coolant is leaking. A pressure tester is like a hand pump that connects at the radiator cap and builds up 15-16 psi to simulate a running engine. If the pressure holds, there is no leak, if the pressure bleeds off there is a leak somewhere that you will be able to see somewhere under the hood.

I filled the reservoir tank, radiator, took it for a spin, popped the hood, yes, i also been using the ac, hotter than hell here in Texas.. it is a mixture, I put a bowl underneath to catch what is leaking, I will take picture it..

Basically what I am seeing is water and coolant mixture.. it is green, slippery..what could this mean?

Probably a heater core leak, but usually that causes fumes in the cab and dampness on the carpet.

Your heater core is leaking..........
That is the drain to keep it from leaking into the pass. compartment.
Not a hard job on a Ranger.

ok, thank you for the response. So is this why my reservoir tank get empty? what i see is anti-freeze when it leaks.
Is that why I see what looks like white fumes when running the ac because of the heater core?

No.. No sweet taste, smell when ac is blowing out what seems like white smoke, fumes.

So the heater core uses anti-freeze? If not, why do i see ant-freeze dripping from what supposed to be water from ac?

Is the heater core not working properly the reason why I see white smoke or fumes when I run the ac?

Thanks for your help..
