leaking coolant please help
my truck is a 1993 2wd automatic trans with a 300 it was leaking coolant and it seemed to to be leaking from the lower hose i changed it but know its leaking only when i turn the engine off i cant tell where its coming from but the water gathers and drips from the corner of the oil pan i hope that makes sence

I had a radiator leak that sounds much like that. It leaked down the cooling fins and ended up gathering on the hose ,making it appear the hose is leaking. I took it to the shop and they did a pressure test and the pressure test looked ok. I found it by laying under the truck and watching with a bright light for about 20 minutes. It was a tiny hole that wasn't enough for a typical leak test to find apparently.

mine was the same way, replaced the fan thingy and lower hose, still leaked, i grabbed a small mirror and looked under the water outlet and i had blown the gasket, pretty retarted on mine ford only used 2 bolts and not one of em is on the buttom portion of the outlet.
