Other than pointing the hose at the firewall, is there any reason why the doghouse has to be turned? I just left it alone, turned down the elbow to the hose- nice downhill run all the way. What say all?

Others have run it the same way you have! Most run the hose up over the master brake and then down. Giving any oil that my be in there a chance to run back into the VC.

That is exactly why, or else you can end up with a drip. But besides that it is just fine either way.

Thanks. I stared at that for awhile and couldn't come up with a good reason why I had to mess with o-rings and such. I'm gonna make a little catch can beings Clays hose ends right at the crossmember under the t-case. Couldn't have planned it better.
