I was putting some finishing touches on the engine bay off my 77 the other day and started to hook up the heater hoses to the heater core......and found that when I put on the hose it gets kind of kinked.....just a lil....because of the inner fender well and I am worried that it will restrict the flow. When I started the project it had the original style hoses on it....molded to turn and go to the water pump and heater control valve. Since I am replacing all the hoses as a precaution....I am looking for some molded heater hoses or maybe another solution. Does anyone have a suggestion?
i likes the last suggestion about the small spring 76 ma bronco .
good idea as i wanted to change my hoses also.
they kinked so i put the original hose back on .
ive run straight hose for years through 103 and -30, never have had an issue with it kinking it closed. I like the wire inside idea too, might try that .

Good auto parts stores like NAPA or CarQuest have hoses with a 90 degree bend on one end in a variety of lengths. I have tall aluminum valve covers on my 351 so I had to route the hose to the control valve along the firewall and behind the valvecover. By joining two pieces with a brass conector and hoseclamps so I had 90s at both ends of a 12inch long piece it made for a very clean instalation.
I will try to get a pic on here tonight.
