front clip removal, maybe this will help
I removed the front clip on my 66 to stab in a 390, and do some general cleanup. I of course had to grind off the bolts that hold the fenders underneath the cab. The bolts behind the small access doors came right out! Being lazy and having lots of junk around sometimes has its advantages. I am using the threaded clips that hold the light buckets to the cores upport from a junker 73. I think they are less likely to break because they seem to be stamped sheet metal rather then a nut welded to a clip.
