How much A/C oil

I have a 1995 Explorer that I am replacing the compressor, accumulator and orifice. The under hood sticker calls for 7 oz of oil in the system. The replacement compressor has a sticker stating it has 7 oz of oil.

The shop book states the old accumulator will have oil in it and it should be measured and that amount plus 2 oz should be added to the new accumulator.

Should I remove some of the oil from the new compressor and add it to the new accumulator or is having it all in the compressor acceptable on start up?

Thanks for any guidance.

The best thing to do would be to solvent flush the condenser and evaporator and blow them dry. This would put the oil at a known quantity (0oz). Then add 7 oz of fresh oil. Back flushing the condenser is necessary anyway if you've had a compressor failure.

Your 95 uses a Parallel flow condenser which can't be reliably flushed. You should seriously consider replacing it if the old compressor grenaded.
