No, the problem is that everytime I have purchased them they dont fit, and I have been buying guaranteed fittment rims. Some places said they will fit the go on but the cap dont fit, then call and saying just run with out the cap the factory grease dust cap. (not good idea) Another was a full suspension swap with a e-150 but i dont understand wat the difference is between the two cause no one seems to know. I have seen rims online that fit these trucks but no one seems to want to reveal there secret or something or they acutally not fitting
Before you buy wheels you should know what the stock offset/backspacing was originally and try to match that positioning of the wheel mounting with whatever new wheel you're looking at. If the new wheel is wider than stock you'll need to account for that in the backspacing. After you've found a wheel with backspacing/offset that'll work you have to match the hub bore on the new wheel with your hub/spindle O.D. Measure the hub/spindle diameter and find a wheel that hugs that tightly.
If you're worried about the hub protruding past the wheel, we'll you're kinda screwed there, at least on a 4x4, not sure of the 2x4 trucks.
He's seems to be talking about the front wheels on a 2x4 since he said dust cap and swap with a E150. I think his problem is that the cover for the lug nuts wont fit over with the dust cap from the axle nut protruding out. I'm sure there is no problem on the rears since nothing sticks out past the lugs.
How much clearance do you need? How much further does the dust cap stick past the lugs?
Could ya just flatten the nose of the dust cap a little and still clear the axle nut?
The entire end of the hub. um how do i explain this the hubs are over sized compared to a couple years newer. Then they also stick out about 2" on the ones that will actually fit but then there is no way to put the covers or caps on and looks absolutely ****ty. The only thing that would be able to fit is about a 15" old aluminum rock crawling looking im and it wont go with wat im set up for.

You need to look for wheels that don't have flat center caps. Look at the wheels right above. The center cap sticks out further than the wheel. Look at the XD wheels, they have a bunch of big wheels that have center caps that will clear the dust cap on the front spindles.
HA ya i have been looking at the one set in chrome for awhile just the cost is insane for these and they telling me the star in the middle is a trimable cap but i just dont know what they gonna look like but ya thanks i think this is my path im taking
My problem is right above in that pic that guys fit and i could get a set like that with rim and tire for a 1/4 the price where do i get those rims or what did they do to make them fit?
the truck above doesnt have springs, it has air bags and as far as rims for our trucks go you have to bore out the center to clear the rims. The guy with the truck pictured above explained it to me. He had to send the rims back to the manufacturer to have them bored.
