HI,
Im going to put at 6" fabtech lift on my 2wd X. I found some rims that are 22x9.5 that i would like to put on there. but I have hear that it may cause me some alignment issues. Anyone have any problems with that big of a rim? Also will i need to upgrade my bearings adding that big of rim?
Depending on the 22'' rim offset, you're right that's more stressful on the front end components. I don't know of a bigger bearing - needle bearings that is. See if they'll let you test fit the rim first?
Well im looking at getting them off of ebay. I just like them. lol. I can get them in no offset or 10 offset or 25 offset. whatever measurement means. lol. My stock bearings should be ok?
I can't imagine how a bigger wheel would have any more adverse effect than the 1000's of us that are running 16 inch rims with 35's or 37's for tires or more...I did atiny 2" lift and put 35's on and I had NO problem aligning. Not sure about that argument. You will need an adjustable track bar though. That's a lot of lift.
