clutch replacement procedure
well it definitely is going to be clutch time this year. does anyone have step by step procedure for 93 7.3l clutch replacement. guess I am going to need to do the rear main seal also. started slipping in third, and I am getting shaking and shuddering at startup. Guess I will go with the solid luk flywheel.
I don't have a transmission jack, do any autoparts stores rent them. any advice is well appreciated. I am not looking forward to doing this. is there anything else i need to do while doing this. my rear main has been leaking for years.

I have read several other posts about it like a loud shudder, and they said it was the dmf going.

I wouldn't call it a shake or shudder... Just a rattle!
To me! A Shake or Shudder means you feel it!
A failing DMF causes a distinct rattle, never seen one that could be felt though (maybe small vibrations), not saying it couldn't!

X2 what Dave said. When the stock flywheel went bad in my son's 97, it would shake with no ryme or reason. It did not slip or rattle. When we changed it out we found the center bearing was going bad.
