Injector upgrade question...

What injectors would be best if going with a stock turbo or a D66 turbo setup?

I think 2's would be too much... Stage 1's as big as I should go?

I really don't know...But I'm going to upgrade to DIY stage 2's and only run them at stage 1 capacity for now. I've bee told this is doable since the chip will control the injectors. Might as well put stage 2's in and not have to pull injectors later on if you decide stage 1 isn't enough.

I plan on doing the supporting mods down the road in order to utilize the stage 2's, but I'm not sure what all mods will be needed.

I wouldn't be going any bigger than a D66 turbo. Don't want to shell out the money for a H2E setup.
Just a daily driver and maybe some fun at the drag strip every once in a while.

The II's will definately produce more than 30 psi at any given time. The d66 and stock turbo do not like greater than 30 psi.

I ran my II's with the stocker for quite a while and yes it will take it but not for long. I tried to be easy on mine and it wasn't damaged when I removed it.

So I'd be better off getting Stage 1's I'm thinkin...

How much boost and HP/Torque can the 1's produce? Stock and d66?

If you onlyt plan on stock or d66 turbo I would stick with I's
Especially if you don't want tranny problems. The tranny will not hold II's at all.

Yeah, I've got a rebuilt tranny in mine right now with about 2k miles on it so far. I figure if it's still running good when it goes out I'll get a new better transmission.

BTS is the way to go but you are looking at $4000.
Well worth the money though.
