I was there! I was down at the other end of the track and on the other side from you guys, I seen both of you. silvercrew did a great job pulling he even broke the sled.lol I had my wife and my nephew with me so I figured I would stick with them. who was the young punk beside you guys in the red ford diesel, at the end of the pull he kept reving it up and about shot it to the moon. that wasn't you was it Fuzzy? lol!

 

Yeah I broke the sled. I was paying attention to my EGT and didnt see the guy waving the red flag LOL I thought the sled was pulling ALOT harder then it had the previous run. I dont know who the punk was but I did notice him. Wearing an abercrombie type shirt with clean cowboy boots LOL Almost had to get into a foght, I was sitting on the tailgate of my friends truck that was parked next to mine (white F350 DRW) I saw a guy walk between our trucks I just turned my head around and saw the dome lamp come on in my truck, I came unglued! Guy was drunk and at the wrong truck.

 

what did your EGT get up to? I talked to Joe king last time he said he was pushing 1800*

 

Ouch, mine never got over 1300*

 

that 1800* was on a nonintercooled tractor. 1300* isn't that bad for a few seconds, the last time I pulled before the cummins motor I ran about 1200-1250 and suffered no problems. I want to pull the cummins motor but my wife goes with me every time and bitches when I even talk about it.

 

No one could ever accuse me of being a young anything. Old fart maybe Sorry we didn't meet. Have to work on that gtg.

 

hey i was just wondering if you knew anyone or anywhere the whole video for the saturday night pull was posted?

 

There is a few clips on youtube but none more then a couple minutes. It went from 7pm til after midnight so I doubt anyone taped it all.
