ujoint/yoke clearance

ujoint/yoke clearance
How tight is the ujoint supposed to fit into the pinion yoke between the locking nubs on the yoke. I have play between the ujoint and the nubs. I can see and feel the clearance if i put the ujoint caps against the yoke nubs. Trying to figure out if the yoke is bad or the ujoints(2) are made wrong.
Anyone know the dimensions of the total length of a ujoint (cap to cap) and nub to nub on the yoke.
Anyone know which spicer ujoint is the correct one (5-178x?)
