Hey orng1...can you explain what you mean by runnning vegetable oil? I'm a new diesel owner, and am not sure what you're talking about. Do you use vegetable oil as an addditive? If so, how much. Thanks!

From what I hear there is similar milleage, I haven't ran any but I do run veg oil. There seems to be a slight drop in veg oil but it runs so much smoother and a lot quieter.

It's a completely separate fuel system, and yes the truck runs on pure veggie oil. But, the trick is to heat it up so it flows, and to purge it out of the engine before you shut down or you'll have crisco in your heads. LOL

I went and filled up today. The grade is b5 at 2.64 per gallon. Dino diesel at 2.79 and up. Is b5 worth it or should I find some b20?

B-5 is good, thats what I run 99.9% of the time. They say when you get above B-20, the bio starts to degrade your o-rings over time. Been running B-5 for 3 years and I changed out my passenger side fuel line o-rings to the head and fuel bowl and they were still plyable, did that at 119,000, not that had too, I was in there so I did the switchout. Your in good shape, enjoy a smoother engine..
