I think that needs to be my next mod. I had my truck squatting with a scissor lift on a trailer. It's in my sig, I wanted people to see how much it squatted. I've done the leveling kit and it looks just about perfect when I don't have that weight there but add 1500lbs and it's odd looking.
How many holes in the frame did the welded plate cover? I've got a B&W gooseneck and went with the bolt in ones that go inside the frame rail. You lose a little bit of sway control with the bags inside the frame, but you only notice it at first. My next project is to install spacers to engage the overloads to get the sway control back.
Hey Chris -
What brand of air bags did you get? I had to take of the air bags that were on the truck when I had the B&W put on, but would like to get them back.
I'm not sure if there is a difference in the airbags themselves, but the mounting hardware. With my gooseneck hitch that is bolted to the outisde, my airbags are mounted between the framerail and the axle. I would have liked them ouside the frame rail for the sway control, but I can't say I've noticed any issues with the way they are.
