Where can i find info online about C4 trannies? When the tranny was removed from another vehicle they cut all the wires. So i need a wiring diagram as well as specifications like gear ratios, bolt sizes, fastener torque settings, etc. I also have been unable to decode the casting # (RF-D3AP-7D). At least i think that is the casting#. It is embossed on a round disc on the right side of the tranny, possibly the servo cover? Sorry i don't have much experiance yet with transmissions.
Jon, you can pick up a manual at a good parts store, look at one at a library, or purchase one when you buy a kit. Some tranny shops sell them in thier parts dept. All those specs will be in there. Your wiring problem sounds like they just cut off the harness for the neutral saftey / back up light switch. You could probably figure it out petty easy, or just get another one. That number you gave is the part number for the servo cover. The actual tranny number will be on a small metal tag bolted to that same cover. The numbers will be stamped in it. Something like PGD-A, or similar. If that tags missing, don't worry. C-4's are easy to get parts for. If you do find a number drop me a line and I'll see if I can cross it. Good luck, Phil
