351 w tranny ?
Good day to all
i would like to put a manual tranny on a 351w cast # D4AE and would like to know what tranny fits it thanks enjoy the info i have found so far .. oh by the wat this is going in a 1961 unibody f100 convertable im building on a 99 expedition chassis

Transmission choices
Well it might be useful to specify if you are interested in manual or automatic, 2WD or 4WD.
Anyhow, anything that fits a 302 will also fit a 351W.
Some 2WD standard transmissions that will fit:
3.03 (RAT or RAN) three speed
Toploader and toploader imposter four speed
SROD (Single Rail Overdrive) four speed
World Class five speed
TREMEC five speed
etc. etc.
Automatics:
C4, C5, C6, FMX, AOD, AOD-E/4R70W, etc.
