Ok I have a 06 F150 supercab, I am thinking of putting the 2 1/2" leveling kit on the truck, because I am wanting to run a bigger tire on my Stock rim which are the 18" chrome factory rims. I am told the tire will rub and I am wanting to get some wheel spacers, My ? is Has anyone installed a set of the wheel spacers on the front, if so What do I look for, such a s a good name one, so some input would be nice to hear about, to point me in the right direction. Thanks.
imo if u can do something with out wheel spacers it would be best, if there is another option that dosent need spacers go that way. i have delt with more problems than anything with spacers.
I also have a level kit on my ford and I was wondering what the problem was with the spacers? I want it to look like a monster and thought spacers were the way to go.
I am not wanting to buy rims, I like my rims, I want bigger tires thus the reason for putting the leveling kit on, I am running stock I believ they are 265's or 275's on my factory 18" chrome rim. I have heard of everyone that has put bigger tirs on there factory rims here have rubbing issues when they turn fully, Thus the reason for the spacer. I am wanting to run a 33" tire or a 315 series tire, i guess. PLEASE NEED SOME INPUT on problems or no problems of the spacres. Thanks.
i ran 325-60r18 grapplers and only had to cut the bottom of the plastic fender...trust me if you don't want to rub a proper lift kit is what you want to get not just a level kit....I've learned that the hard way....
Most of the time you can go 12.50 wide with a leveling kit and stock rims without rubbing. I have seen 33X12.50 tires with no problem and 35X12.50 tires with only a couple people having to trim.
