no urathane paint its really shinny just bad pic stephen its a Dark Cherry Metallic. and i bought that spray gun set you recomended on another post for 129 and i really like them worked great. ive got about 200 hours of sanding in the cab alone the hoods got about 40.
What did you do to the bottom of the cab? I am starting paint stripping on my cab. It is off the frame on a wood dolly I can move around. I built a rotisserie for my Mustang and also used it with the F1 frame. I am looking at modifying it to use on the cab. I will bolt a piece of square tubing to the back and front of the cab to attach to the rotisserie. Plug the bolt holes after the cab is painted. Plan to use Eastwood products on the underside. Does anyone have any suggestions, ideas? Thanks
i had it off to do the frame and i knew it was gonna be a pain to put back on. so i did the underside with bedliner before i put it back on
stephen i was a shoer for 10 years and still a blacksmith
Forgot to ask. Did you rotate, turnover, etc the cab to get to the bottom? I do sand blasting, but for the underside of the cab, running boards and fenders I though I would clean them of scale, then use the Eastwood rust encapsulator. What to you think.
I live in Houston. This is a terrible time of the tear fro sand blasting.
